We provide essential insight on internal controls and the financial management of your organization. The Business Services Cooperative is a member of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers, staying up to date on the latest rules, regulation, and accounting practices within the United States.
Kristy Keeley is the Accounting Manager of the Business Services Cooperative. She has a Associates in Accounting and has been working as a bookkeeper for the past four years. Kristy was a founder of the New Moon Cooperative Cafe, where she developed a love for cooperatives and finance. She spent the last two years working at the Northwest Cooperative Development Center as a bookkeeper and Cooperative Developer before joining the team at the Business Services Cooperative.
Micheal Snow is a bookkeeper and the practice manager of the Business Services Cooperative. He has worked with member-controlled and member-owned businesses for almost 10 years. While earning his Bachelor’s Degree from The Evergreen State College, he found his interest in accounting and financial operations. He has worked as a bookkeeper and financial manager for the last four years, and has also served on the Board of the Olympia Food Cooperative since 2014. Micheal has helped to form and manage two employee-owned cooperative corporations in Olympia: the New Moon Cooperative Café & the Northwest Construction Cooperative, where he is presently the Financial Coordinator.
Emma Carrillo is the Director of Community Management for Business Services Cooperative. She started working at the Flaming Eggplant Cafe at the Evergreen State College in 2012, beginning her professional and educational pursuits in cooperative development and finances. After graduating from Evergreen, Emma worked as a junior bookkeeper at the Northwest Construction Cooperative, later taking on administrative and personnel management. She worked for the Olympia Food Cooperative before joining BSC and offers financial support to community projects she is a part of, namely the Olympia Free Herbal Clinic and Emma Goldman Homeless Outreach Project.
