About Us
From One Cooperative to Another…
The Business Services Cooperative (BSC) began as a creative way to offer bookkeeping support to a worker cooperative by a former worker-owner.
Today we serve resident-owned communities, cooperatives of all shapes and sizes, small businesses, and non-profits working for the benefit of a shared and community owned economy.
We’ve grown into an efficient team working remotely and paperless, offering our services across the region and look forward to the ways we’ll continue to grow.

Mission
Our mission is to strengthen a cooperative economy by providing comprehensive business and consulting services primarily to cooperatives and small businesses by skilled and helpful professionals.

Meet Our Team
Our team of employee-owners offer full-charge bookkeeping and business support services to resident-owned communities, cooperatives, other member-owned organizations, and small businesses. Although we specialize in member-owned and member-controlled entities, our clients operate in many different industries.
